Belfast is a small city surrounded by hills and sea. Which means although we live in cosy suburbia, within ten minutes I can be at work, on a beach or working the land on our brand new allotment.
Now that the chickens have become fully integrated into our lifestyle, this is just the logical next step. In fact, birds and patch work beautifully together: not only do our feathery trio provide us with two to three protein packed capsules each day, their nitrogen stuffed waste matter is just about the most perfect ingredient for the compost heap so their benefit to the family has doubled now our welly-clad antics shift up a gear and we further embrace
the Good Life.
But don't worry, I've got a pile of the usual and unusual found type, print and stuff ready to blog. And while I recognise Plot Watch is not going to be for everyone I have to say that I'm quite excited about our new venture.
Happy New Year one and all.
