I instinctively recognised this as some kind of type or print sample when I found it in a second-hand bookshop. Delighted by it's 50p price, upon examination I discovered it to be a story of two number sixes that adopt a small number nine. Composed and printed in Germany by D. Stempel AG in 1968, with German, English and French text the booklet introduced the new typeface Syntax-Antiqua, designed by Hans Ed Meyer.
