Just bought this on ebay, reasonable price. Penrose Annuals are brilliant, rich in content: from the mundane technicalities of press technology to the cutting-edge of typographic development. I've been collecting them (very, very slowly) since I started working. I've got eight, there's lots more to get but I thought it would be good to get some highlights online.
They're actually not that difficult to get hold of, although I expect there's rarities.

Another great share, thanks a heap. And those typewriter ribbons ... amazing!
PS. The You Make My Day award is waiting for you over at my blog.

Wow, beautiful! I became so inspired about this, that I started searching how to buy one myself. Shipping to Sweden is not always available options though, but I found one - and bought it! It's 1958! Always a start :) Which books (years) do you have?
Thanks for your blog, so inspiring!

Hi Christina,
I've got 1936, 1960, 1962, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970 and just received yesterday a pristine copy of the 1969 Annual. Would like to complete a 60s collection before getting any others. I imagine 1958 is a good start. If I remember correctly it's got a great cover design. It's not the one with the Swiss Air pull-out leaflet is it?

I have quite a lot of Penrose Annuals to sell. I have collected them over the last 35 years and all are in at least good condition. Let me know your wants. As they are heavy buyer may collect.
