Giggle. Best piece of speculative fiction I've read in a while. From the unlikeliest of places no less. The Milk Bar being australian for Corner Shop, I've pined about it's slow slow death while wondering about how it will all turn out. Where does 7/11 fit in with all of this? I'd see more of a correlation between the two than the supermarket. Simply for elements of scale, and how they both seem to stock the same things.

Do we still get bags of mixed lollies for 20 cents in the future?


I'm not sure what it all means—but I like it.
