A prolific writer, Le Corbusier used his architectural pen to draft numerous articles, letters, books, diaries, transcripts and notebooks. He was a man with ideas that he felt could add to the cultural mix of his time and saw his writings as a way to spread his messages. Homme de Lettres is the first major work on the man's scribbles and is a mighty handsome block.
I bet he would have been a prolific blogger. Imagine if he'd had access to twitter, he would never have got anything built. ; )
