James Mackay

33 books were issued in this cover design. 'The Great Escape' and Agatha Christie's 'Murder in Mesopotamia' were the first two, on 18 April 1957. Both the 'grid' and the art of all of them are excellent, a late flourish of the hope and light of the Festival of Britain style. Well done the charity shop that had a copy in such good condition.

Thanks James. Always great to get some details. It IS in great condition.
