Beautifully decorative patterns surrounding the stunning typography. I agree completely with you on that image of Hans Schmoller.

The cover of the Scores series was indeed designed by Tschichold, though the books were published after Schmoller had succeeded him. About half of the paper designs were Elizabeth Friedlander's; and many of the patterns as well as the layout were of course used for the Poets as well.
